Personally, I find it to be a drawback, which is the only reason why the Pax PLUS Vaporizer doesn't receive a perfect score here. It's worth noting that this is a subjective opinion, and a lot of users do not have any issues with the mouthpiece/button design. 

 

Battery – 4/5 

The Pax PLUS Vaporizer boasts a powerful 3300mAh battery that can last up to 2.5 hours of continuous use, for up to 10 sessions. This is an impressive feat for a vaporizer of this size and capacity.  

However, unlike some other vaporizers on the market, the Pax PLUS Vaporizer does not feature a USB-C charging port. Instead, it uses the PAX proprietary charging system, which can be a bit inconvenient if you don't have the right cable. This is the only reason it doesn't get a 5 out of 5 here.

How to use the Pax PLUS vaporizer 

The PAX Plus is very easy to use, even easier than its predecessors. PAX ditched the smartphone app and simply kept 4 different experience presets. 

1. Fill the heating chamber with ground herbs or with a small amount of concentrates in the concentrate insert.
2. Turn on the device with a simple click on the mouthpiece/button 
3. Choose your favourite experience setting by pressing the button for 2 seconds. Cycle through the 4 different settings with short presses of the button. Long-press again or shake the device to validate your choice. 
4. 1 purple Petal: STEALTH Mode = Produces minimal vapor; dims LEDs and vibration settings for discreet sessions 
5. 2 blue Petals: EFFICIENCY Mode = Conserves material for longer lasting sessions. 
6. 3 yellow Petals: FLAVOR Mode = Delivers a balance of flavour and vapor throughout your sessions. 
7. 4 red Petals: BOOST Mode = Provides maximum vapor production, ideal for concentrates. 
8. When the device reached temperature, petals turn green. Slowly inhale and enjoy. 
9. Turn off the device with a simple click on the mouthpiece.
